ABOUT

Colin's sculpting practice is focused on creating climate conscious site elements for public and commercial spaces. His bench designs include contemporary riffs on furniture from Victorian and Mid Century eras. His biomorphic sculptures are whimsical and designed for human interaction.

Artist's Statement

PROCESS

Regionally sourced salvage steel propane tanks are carefully dissected and the pieces reassembled, with no additional reshaping of the material, an eco-friendly process with a minimal carbon footprint that produces durable objects which contain 99% post-consumer reused content.
