Eco-Friendly Sculpture + Seating

Vespa was recently commissioned by The Department of General Services and DC Public Schools as part of a renovation of the historic Randle Highlands Early Learning Center located in Ward 7 in SE Washington DC. The sculpture is currently under construction and will be installed in summer 2020 at an outdoor location adjacent to a new play area. The forms and colors within this abstract hornet, the school’s mascot, appeal to people of all ages while its construction method fosters climate awareness. Dimensions:  6’ x 6’ x 10’
