The University of Maryland School of Law received this Bee Sculpture as a donation from the renowned art collector Sam Rose, who is a graduate. It was installed in the Library Courtyard for faculty, staff and students to enjoy while they eat or study. The body and legs are made from scrap steel propane tanks while the wings are fabricated from used plumbing pipe and polycarbonate plastic.
